Nigerian music star and one-half of the defunct P-Square duo, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has stirred reactions on social media after announcing that he is changing his birthday date.
In a post shared on Monday afternoon via his official X handle, the singer wrote simply, “I am officially changing my birthday date.
Noting that November 18th is no longer his birthday celebration date And that he won’t be accepting any messages or gifts on that day. He announced his new birthday celebration to be on November 30th. According to him this is a personal decision, and he truly appreciate everyone understanding.
Peter, who has, over the years, been in the spotlight both for his music career and the highly publicised family disputes within the Okoye household, did not provide further explanation for the decision at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, Nigerian media personality Roby Ekpo broke down in tears during a podcast appearance as he narrated how he allegedly discovered that his wife had remarried in the United States after years of separation and sustained financial support from him.
Ekpo, visibly emotional during the yet-to-be-released episode of Honest Bunch Podcast, said he only realised the extent of the breakdown in their marriage after coming across private messages in which his wife allegedly expressed deep dissatisfaction with their relationship.
