The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says its air component of Operation HADIN KAI has killed dozens of terrorists and destroyed one of their key strongholds in Borno State.
In a statement issued on Thursday by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, the operation took place on Wednesday morning, September 17, 2025, at Bula Madibale in the Gezuwa area of Borno.
According to the statement, intelligence and surveillance had revealed unusual movements in the area, prompting a reconnaissance mission.
According to the statement, two terrorist flags were reportedly hoisted at the site, marking it as a rallying point for insurgents.
