Stand-up comedian, Otaghware Onodjayeke, known by his stage name Igosave, has called on relevant authorities to investigate the activities of telecommunication companies in the country, claiming that they are defrauding the citizens.
He made the call against the backdrop of the recent tariff hike by major Internet providers in Nigeria.
The comedian, currently in the United Kingdom, noted that data is both faster and more reliable there than in Nigeria.
He called on the Nigerian government, NCC, EFCC, ICPC to investigate all the telecom providers noting that internet providers are defrauding Nigerians.
