Gunmen have reportedly abducted a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly representing Pankshin South Constituency.
The lawmaker, Hon. Laven Denty, was abducted from his home at Dong area of Jos North LGA.
Plateau has been battling insecurity.
Recall that gunmen similarly stormed Dong community last week where they kidnapped a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, and a student of University of Jos.
The kidnappers had invaded Solomon Dansura family’s house around 10 p.m. and whisked away his two young guests in the process.
There has not been official response from the state officials or confirmation by the State Police Command as at the time of filing this report.
