A group of concerned citizens in Benue State has invited National Assembly members representing the state to a town hall meeting to account for the billions of naira allocated to constituency and intervention projects across Benue.
This invitation follows a petition from constituents across the state demanding a public briefing from their lawmakers on the implementation status of constituency projects, as part of a citizen-led accountability drive.
In a press release signed by the State Coordinator, Isaac Abah, the group emphasized the importance of public scrutiny over the management of public funds.
