WIKE DEMANDS JOINT COLLABORATION IN TACKLING INSECURITY IN FCT

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said he can’t handle the security situation in the capital city alone.
Wike said there is a need for joint collaboration in tackling insecurity with the President, National Security Adviser, Inspector General of Police, and Department of State Services residing in the FCT.
Speaking in Abuja, the minister insisted that tackling insecurity in the FCT can’t be handled in isolation.
Wike assured of an ongoing collaborations with security agencies to tackle insecurity in the FCT because he can’t fail in that area.
He insisted that the FCT is unique, hence can’t stand alone in the fight against insecurity like State governments.
