The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command, has arrested six suspected vandals involved in the illegal removal and theft of railway sleepers in Kiru Local Government Area of the state.
The NSCDC State Commandant, Mohammed Agalama, disclosed this while addressing a news conference at the Command’s headquarters on Wednesday.
“The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command, wishes to inform the general public of the arrest of six suspected vandals involved in the illegal removal and theft of railway slippers in Kiru Local Government Area of Kano State,” he said.
According to him, the suspects were apprehended by vigilant operatives of the Command following credible intelligence and sustained surveillance operations.
