A former Big Brother Naija Season 5 (Lockdown edition) housemate, Neo Akpofure, has threatened legal action against a social media user over a rape allegation made against him on X (formerly Twitter), demanding a public retraction and apology within 48 hours or face a lawsuit for defamation.
In a letter dated February 18, 2026, signed by Chief Victor O. Idiapho for E.L. Akpofure, SAN & Co., the reality TV star’s solicitors described the allegation as “entirely false, malicious and defamatory,” warning that failure to comply with their demands would result in immediate legal proceedings without further notice.
