The six teams that will play in the 2026 World Cup intercontinental playoffs are now confirmed.
They are: Bolivia, DR Congo, Iraq, Jamaica, New Caledonia and Suriname.
They will all compete in a mini-tournament scheduled for March 2026 in Mexico.
42 countries had automatically qualified for next year’s tournament.
The remaining six spots will be filled by the UEFA and inter-confederation playoffs in March.
The European play-off draw will take place on Thursday, November 20 at FIFA headquarters.
