The Super Eagles have confirmed they will play Gabon in the semi-final of the African playoffs, as they seek to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Nigeria qualified thanks to a 4-0 win over Benin Republic on Tuesday night.
Victor Osimhen scored the first three goals, before Frank Onyeka volleyed in the decisive fourth.
The fourth goal meant Nigeria beat Burkina Faso to the fourth and last playoff spot.
Nigeria will play Gabon on November 13 and if they win, Eric Chelle’s men will then take on the winner between Cameroon and Congo DR, for the continental ticket.
