Veteran Nollywood actor, Alhaji Babatunde Bamgbode, professionally known as Baba Fokoko, has countered the claim by his colleagues over the 2023 election campaign.
Lalude, Alapini, Toyin Abraham, Olaiye Igwe, Seyi Law, Eniola Badmus, and Foluke Daramola were among hundreds of Nollywood celebrities that led campaigns for Tinubu presidency during the 2023 general elections.
Expressing regret two years after Tinubu’s victory, Alapini in June 2025, lamented not being rewarded for his support.
Reacting to Alapini’s interview, Lalude called out president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, MC Oluomo for not fulfilling what he promised them for the campaign.
However, speaking in a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, actor Fakoko countered Lalude, noting that MC Oluomo never promised to reward them.
