Nigerian singer and songwriter Seyi Shay has opened up about her early working relationship with Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, revealing how their collaborations blossomed into a genuine friendship and creative mentorship.
Speaking in a recent Podcast, the “Irawo” hitmaker discussed how their music chemistry led to several collaborations, including their joint track “Crazy”.
The singer revealed that she had also provided background vocals for a few of his early records.
Expressing admiration for Wizkid’s artistry, Seyi Shay described him as a creative force unlike any other.
