BLOODLETTING, CORRUPTION DEMARKETING NIGERIA SAYS PETER OBI TELLS TINUBU

The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, has warned that insecurity and corruption are destroying lives and eroding Nigeria’s global image.
He urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently review and strengthen his administration’s strategy to combat the menace.
In a post on his official X handle, the former Anambra State Governor expressed grave concern over the growing normalization of mass killings across the country.
Obi, while citing recent killing incidents in several states, bemoaned that the situation has spiraled beyond control.
He cautioned that the silence of the Federal Government or inadequate response is fueling a growing perception of indifference and insensitivity, particularly among grieving Nigerians.
Obi reiterated that the failure to decisively tackle insecurity and systemic corruption is damaging Nigeria’s international reputation, which he described as “real demarketing.”
