Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has conveyed her best wishes to Nigerian children, describing them as true representatives of the promise of Nigeria’s future.
She said this as part of activities marking the international children’s day, commemorated every May 27th globally.
The First Lady said this year’s theme, “Stand Up: Building a Bullying-Free Generation,” speaks of shared responsibility to protect and empower the young hearts.
Speaking further on the ills of bullying, she said whether it occurs in schools, in communities, or online, it leaves lasting wounds that hinder a child’s emotional, social, and academic development.
According to the President’s wife, every child deserves to grow up in an environment that is safe, supportive, and free from fear.
