AKWA IBOM GOV. ENO DIRECTS COMMISSIONERS TO DEFECT TO APC OR RESIGN

The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has directed all his commissioners and appointees to either defect with him to the All Progressives Congress (APC) or resign from their positions.
Governor Eno gave the directive during the State Executive Council on Thursday, confirming what has been circulating as rumours on social media for several weeks.
He told the commissioners and appointees that they are not obligated to join him to the APC but can’t allow them to remain in his cabinet while in another party.
