The US Geological Survey said a 6.1-magnitude earthquake on Thursday hit the Greek Island of Crete,
The quake, according to the US Geological Survey, occurred at a depth of 68.9 kilometres, with its epicentre located about 58 kilometres northeast of the small town of Eloúnda.
