The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda presided over plenary at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The sitting was held amid the invasion of officials of the Department of State Services who had earlier sealed the chamber and office of the Speaker on Monday morning.
The DSS officials who were later sighted inside the chamber were in a physical confrontation with legislative workers at the exit door of the chamber.
The lawmakers had earlier forced their way into the chamber around 12:30 pm amid solidarity support from the assembly workers.
The crisis at the assembly deepens amid a leadership tussle between ousted Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and Meranda.
